Shots anyone?

So a weekly post is probably a little far fetched on our end, at least until we get the hang of this whole blog thing. However, despite the fact that our last post was approx. two months ago, we're still in the game.

After moving to Salt Lake City, I tagged along with Coby (sister) on a few local antiquing trips. Living in an apartment with no TV, no internet access, and only a cat for entertainment is definitely behind the explanation as to why I would actually get excited to go out and help her hunt for jadeite. She explained the history of this particular glassware to me, which I found it interesting, but I really just had a lot of fun playing hide and seek in antique stores; scoping around for that milky green glass.

Coby took a trip out to Moab at one point and came back with a peach lustre mug. I was attracted to the groovy, orange, fashionably tacky mug and when she told me how this line of fireking glassware was significantly more affordable, I started on my own hunt.

It's springbreak for me here in Boone, NC so I'm heading to Snowshoe in West Virginia for some skiing with my pals, so while I would love to chat more peach lustre, my ride's almost here. This little cup is an espresso cup, but I like to think of it as a shot glass. Its suggestive of my weekend, so I thought it was appropriate to post
