Welcome to our ridiculously dorky website where we will discuss specific pieces of depression-era glassware we have found. As it stands, we are collecting Jadite (or Jade-ite), Peach Lustre, and white milk glass (known by various names). I can imagine adding Delphite (or Turquoise) to the collection sooner rather than later.
Our goal is simple: We want to provide a resource to new and old collectors that consists of more than a quick picture and pricing guide. Instead, we want to include stories of where we found certain items, what we paid for them, why the item is cool or special, and what we know about it's history.
We are both originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania which makes searching for these pieces so much fun-many of the glassware companies (Jeannette, McKee, Anchor Hocking) had factories in Pennsylvania.
After discussing creating this blog, we made a pilgrimage to Jeannette to go antiqueing over the holidays. We actually found very little but it was pretty cool to be passing a school named "Jeannette-McKee Elementary."

So welcome to our blog! We hope to update it once a week with one piece in our collections.
Stay tuned!
